Project Narative: "PROJECT OF THE YEAR" - National Association of Homebuilders - CERTIFIED LEED PLATINUM. The structural insulated panels used for GreenSpur’s “Project of the Year” were provided by SureTight Insulated Panel Corporation. This “ready to assemble” (RTA) package comes with window and door openings precut. The bevels for the roof are also provided by using the PBA cutting machine. This McClean, VA home used a great design followed by quality products to achieve a green home that is energy efficient without sacrificing style.

Project Narative: This is a steel frame structure wrapped with SureTight ready-to-assemble structural insulated panels. There are approximately 16,300 square feet of 8 1/4" SIP wall panels and 10,500 square feet of 12 1/4" SIP roof panels in this project. The panels for this project had FSC Certified OSB on both the interior and exterior of the panels. The project owner is pursuing a LEED certification for the building which is nearing completion.
